The SGS Climate Change Programme has solid experience in offering services to thousands of clients, ranging from the smallest through to the largest multi-site/multi country emitters, and from simple to complex GHG inventories and diverse GHG project portfolios.

  • The SGS Climate Change Program (CCP) was established in India in 2004 and has to its credit registration of 1st Large Scale Project (Gujrat Floro Chemicals Ltd.)
  • SGS India has registered over 70 projects with the UNFCCC and has more than 200 GHG projects in pipeline. SGS India CCP Clientele list includes major companies including Reliance, Tata, Aditya Birla Group, Lanco, JSW Steel, SRF, Enercon, GMR, Greenply, IL & FS, etc, to name a few.
  • The CCP team of 18 professionals has adequate qualified Lead Assessors, Assessors and local assessors to meet all the deadlines as and when desired.
  • SGS Auditors have wide experience of working with almost all type of GHG projects in the SE-Asia Pacific region.
  • SGS India is also doing Technical Reviews for GHG projects outside India. With its strong competence and experience SGS India plays vital role as DOE not only in Indian Market but also acts a Regional Competence Centre.
