SGS India is a supporting affiliate for CDM projects. This means that they can receive and process applications for CDM validation, and issue contracts on behalf of SGS United Kingdom Limited. This arrangement enables clients to communicate easily and rapidly in local languages, and it also facilitates the use of the local trained staff.
SGS India has been active in the validation of a range of projects for both private investors and CERUPT. Projects include renewable energy projects (biomass and windpower), landfill gas and HFC destruction.
