SGS Nederlands B.V

SGS Nederlands is a supporting affiliate for the provision of CDM services. This means that they can prepare and submit quotes to clients on behalf of SGS United Kingdom Limited. They also manage access to a pool of sub-contractors with a wide range of expertise in technologies that are relevant to the CDM.

SGS Nederlands provides validation services to potential JI projects and is a service provider to several Government ER/CER procurement projects, as well as the World Banks Prototype Carbon Fund (PCF).
SGS Nederlands provides the Technical Competence Center for the SGS Climate Change Programme. They provide support to the Programme in the dissemination of technical information, training and internal auditing for quality control.
SGS Nederlands also undertake the validation and verification of voluntary projects, notably forestry and land use projects.

Experience
The staff in the Netherlands have been active in all of the ERUPT and CERUPT tenders from the Dutch Government and now provide technical support to other SGS Affiliates, notably those that wish to provide CDM Validation and Verification Services but lack their own qualified staff.

Many of the projects listed in the experience record have been undertaken by SGS Nederlands.
