SGS North America Inc. is the leading Certification service provider to the California Climate Action Registry (CCAR).

The CCAR is a non-trading registry designed to enable early movers to protect their baselines against future legislation and allocation procedures. By recording verified and certified emissions in the Registry, participants will have recourse to reliable data that can be used to determine their allocation of emission allowances under any future emission legislation. The CCAR is voluntary, but once a participant enters, they must report their certified emissions annually. For more information on CCAR, visit  www.climateregistry.org
